The hardest things about being an architect for a failed war--and a man whose rhetorical jujitsu helped to create the term "Axis of Evil"--is that, when that segment of your career is over, you end up settling into a sinecure as a biweekly columnist for the Washington Post. Second hardest is that you have an entire movement's infrastructure at your back to promote your work and pick you up in case you fall.
