It's always good to see one-time climate change skeptics convert away from their skepticism. Reason's Ron Bailey is just such a convert. I'm of the opinion, though, that if he and people like him really want to make a difference, (and atone for past climate sins) they should devote more of their efforts to convincing their former comrades to abandon the skeptic's ship and spend less time writing articles that will mainly be read by people like me who take no convincing, and less time still quibbling, TNR-style, with allies for the sake of appearing high-minded.
Presumably Baily et al understand the skeptic culture better than we do, and, from a position of better faith, can more effectively bring the ethical within their ranks around.
