Banal observation update

Ok, I'm definitely not imagining this salmon-colored powder phenomenon. I've noticed it both walking around alone and walking around with non-blogger friends. It's definitely been around for a few days. But there was a thunderstorm today, and it was strong enough, I'd imagine, to wash the stuff away. So I guess proof will have to wait until whoever is dumping this stuff around my neighborhood goes out and does it again. Assuming he or she does.
