Canned Spam, right out of the can, with plastic forks and knives.

Tea, with freshly boiled bottled water, served in just-unwrapped paper cups.

Living clean is a challenge. If you live alone, one's tolerance for dirt increases over time (and is made manifest by reluctance to have visitors without a major cleaning project).

If living with others, the expectation and reality is that each of the co-habitants think someone else will clean the premises, and so it never gets cleaned.

But, generally, studies have found that bathrooms actually are cleaner than kitchens, in all living arrangements. So, you're part of the moral majority either way.

my kitchen is in a similar state ... today i have eaten nothing but kraft macaroni and cheese for every meal of the day ... you only need one clean pot and a plastic fork!
