Soon enough, straight news reporters will have to begin amassing squeaky clean records at an early age as if they were college boys intent upon being president some day. Either that or bureaus will have to spend a great deal of effort seeking out the handful of people in the country whose minds truly work the way most AP reports read. Which is to say without a hint of freshness or originality.
