It may be, as Ezra points out, totally obvious. But I guess on the whole I'm happy every time solid information is released highlighting big business' contempt for sick workers:
Many businesses complained that the Labor Department’s definition of a serious health condition enabling workers to take leave was unclear and too generous. Many companies also said their operations were hurt when workers with chronic conditions, like asthma or migraine headaches, took frequent leaves.
Yeah, you big babies! Sack up!

What IS the definition of "serious health condition?" Unfortunately, I have seen many workers abuse this. It can be devistating to smaller businesses and demoralizing to the co-worker of those who don't work but can't be fired because they have a "serious" condition.
Isn't asthma serious?
