Postus interruptus

I'm heading down to the Hill (I know! Again!) this time to run a few errands and perhaps attend yet another secret event. I realize that there are very few (if any) of you out there sitting around hitting "refresh" on my site, wanting an explanation for the radio silence. So these notices are probably something like the epitome of uselessness. But they make me feel like I'm contributing content to this little blog project so for now they stay. Ok?
