Taking life

George Bush yesterday: “Destroying human life in the hopes of saving human life is not ethical." Again, unless that life is on death row and his (or her) execution might in some fantasy world deter would-be murderers.

Update: Also, as Matt points out, unless that supposed form of life is being destroyed by a private entity with a wink and a nod but no money from the president.
