The Senate will vote soon on whether or not the official position of the U.S. government is that Iran is a country that we should go to war with. Several hawkish and/or cowardly Democrats will no doubt side with the Republicans, who will no doubt speak with near-unanimity. Guesses on the roll call?
Update: Election Central reports that Hillary Clinton went right ahead and voted yes.
Update II: It passed 76-22.

I should be noted: Josh Marshall reports that two key paragraphs in the amendment were removed by Lieberman/Kyl (those were of great concern that they might be a authorization of military force against Iran.
However, as Josh also reports, Sen. Webb was still concerned that designation of the Iran Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization is dangerous in the Bush/Cheney hands. He also objected to any amendment that not been considered by either the Sen. Armed Services Committee or the Foreign Relations Committee, as was the case of the Joe/Jon stupidity.
