Well probably not. But his solution to the SCHIP impasse closely mimics my own. Which might be sort of cool for me, but considering how abysmally the Democrats have failed to outmaneuver Republicans this Congress, it might just be evidence of my total lack of political acumen.

I really do not think this is a good idea. Most of the vulnerable Republicans already voted against Bush on S-CHIP; therefore, bringing the bill up again and again gives Heather Wilson, Jim Gerlach, Chris Shays, Dave Reichert, Jim Walsh, et al multiple opportunities to demonstrate that they do not vote in lock step with Bush. Why should we allow them to make that case?
