Almost daily Corner bashing

This sort of Giuliani criticism could have been made by some smart liberal who realizes that Rudy's ideas about foreign policy are way, way to the right of Ronald Reagan's.

I just don't see how it can be said, after nearly every debate, that Rudy won when he cannot distance himself from his record. Thompson hit him hard right out of the box, and Rudy responded with tort reform. At least Thompson can justify his position on tort reform on federalism grounds. But Rudy's extreme positions on a number of issues cannot be squared by someone who continually wraps himself in the Reagan legacy.

But no. It was written by Mark Levin, presumably concerned that, when we're all busily mesmerized by the explosions in Iran, Rudy might legalize gay marriage and ban handguns.

Another debate problem: Giuliani regularly wins debates if one has the memory of a goldfish. He consistently answers charismatically, and has polished answers, but often they have little to do with the question that was asked.

Analysts seem not to care about this link between the 30 seconds before the candidate opens their mouth and whatever follows, which makes me believe that CNN's political team would happily elect a piece of tinfoil or a ball of yarn if they had the opportunity to do so.
