Holy crap, I can't believe they're REPLAYING this dreadful thing.

I remember enjoying the first several of these--starting way back in March or whatever--and generally feel as if having a few debates over the course of what should be a much shorter primary season is instructive. What are the candidates' positions? Who's got the most charisma? Who's good at defending themselves? Who's good on the attack? But structurally, after nearly a year has passed since round one, it's just not possible for the 10th or 15th or 2093482309th debate to actually inform anybody. And, of course, it doesn't help in any way that the questions themselves aren't written with the idea of informing people in mind.
