Institutional ignorance

I have a hard time believing that the GOP will ever voluntarily ditch their tendency to lie outright about the relationship between tax levels and revenue, but they certainly never will if the conservative movement's intellectuals don't start calling bullshit and questioning the political wisdom of intentional sophistry.
