Things you never thought you'd find

Perusing my RSS reader last night, I saw the teaser for this post and thought to myself, "Self, surely Andrew Sullivan wouldn't title yet another post about black genetics and poverty in Africa 'The Darker Continent'."

But I was wrong. Terribly, terribly wrong.
