Cloture vote on FISA

Happening on the Senate floor right now. This is for the Intel committee's version of the legislation--a total cave to the administration. If it passes, it will probably mean that the House legislation will have to be gutted and filled with rot during conference. Fortunately it will require 60 votes in the affirmative. Unfortunately, they probably have 60 votes. Will update this post when the results are in.

Update 1: I think it's important to remember that three Democrats--Feinstein, Feingold, and Whitehouse--sit on both the intel and judiciary committees in the Senate, and I think the fact that Feingold has taken this stand with Dodd is extremely telling.

Update 2: 76 yeahs. Here comes Chris Dodd.
