From the lips of a Republican senator whose face I did not recognize, to a colleague: "Read Larry Kudlow's column in the Washington Times. It's a great summary of the economy as a whole."
Yep. So here's what the column says:
Doom and gloom from the economic pessimists has been political sport for seven years, even though the Bush boom just celebrated its sixth anniversary. The current expansion is now in its 74th month — 17 months longer than the average 57-month business cycle since World War II.
Good thing our leaders rely on people who know what they're talking about. Oh, did I mention the senators destination? He was en route to the offices of the Senate Finance Committee. I'm sure his input there will be useful.
