Speaking of which, jogging west on Pennsylvania Ave. last night at around 5:30, I saw the vice-presidential motorcade drive rocket hazardously in the opposite direction toward the Senate. Any guesses as to why?

I think you're probably both right and he was probably down at the Senate arguing that puppy-killing, baby-eating provisions be inserted into the FISA legislation.
