Kobe Bryant could buy his wife a huge rock in a ring when he got caught committing adultery.
When Bill got caught getting blowjobs, he promised his wife the white house. That's threatened, so he's furious.
I'll say one thing: a red-faced Bill Clinton constantly fulminating and demonstrating a loose familiarity with the truth isn't exactly the "Brand Clinton" one would want in the White House. It's pretty pathetic.
Well, some of his anger is really deserve, as you know. The press has been anti-Clinton (both varieties) since, like, forwever. I think the CNN piece is most spot-on with the good guy/bad guy analysis, but more is at work.
I think Bill sees Hillary's succession of a reaffirmation of his Presidency. He was above vigorous attacks on his detractors as candidate and President, and he surely has that response in his DNA.
Now, I fully agree that the Clinton camp has messed up badly in dealing with how to respond to Obama, but they did somehow reverse course (on the race issue, particularly) we they observed that they were being counter-productive.
Actually I like Bill when his dander is raised. His TV interview with Chris Wallace several years ago was, IMO, not only appropriate, but very effective.
Lastly, if Hillary loses, Bill is effectively gone from the national stage. With her election, he gains a worldwide pulpit for himself again. Maybe it is that simple.

whoa: wrong above: He was NOT above vigorous attacks on his detractors as candidate and President, and he surely has that response in his DNA.
Loved the Wallace interview, but I think he's seeing attack monsters where there are really only dust mites.
