Covering the primary campaign

I second Duncan here. I find the horserace to be extremely tedious and difficult and often embarrassing to write about, and I've tried to not do it. At the same time, it's feeling more and more trivial every day to point out the differences between the campaigns, their theories of change, and their stances on the issues. It's extremely well covered ground at this point. So I've all but retired the topic until the head-to-head kicks off.

I guess I ought to say, just for the record, that Hillary supporters' forays into race baiting and their attempts to suppress the vote in Nevada are pathetic and liberals should expect better. Meanwhile, Obama's track record of running to the right of his opponents on policy, and of supporting his positions with fairly conservative pandering is frustrating, but, on the merits, a much smaller sin.
