Partisan debate moderating?

I'm not gonna live blog this debate because... well... I don't want to. But I just want to applaud the fact that this first discussion is an extremely detailed exposition of the Clinton and Obama health care plans. I'm excited for that. But I think the implication is that these moderators do in fact understand that the Clinton and Obama plans (unlike the Republican plans) are actually designed to solve the problem of the uninsured. It's no coincidence that we never hear Wolf Blitzer quizzing John McCain about, say, whether there are moral hazard concerns at stake in his health care plan, or whether his plan would leave a greater number of Americans uninsured than would Mitt Romneys. Because Blitzer, like anybody who observes politics closely, understands that McCain and Romney and the GOP more generally don't know, and don't care about, the answers to those questions.

"But do you recall
The most loony reindeer of all?"

Blitzen's brother Blitzer ??? Man, he is BAD. When an audience boos the question instead of an answer, you would think a 'TILT' light would go off in some CNN executive's office.
