"The Snub"

Despite the best efforts of the handful of members of the media who can actually boast a conscience, The Other Big Political Story Of The Day remains this photo:

Major Diss, Right? That's what I thought. Even Inside Edition said so. But then I did some deep reflecting and remembered all these other moments from the past year, which stand in stark contrast. There was this one moment here during which Obama and Clinton seemed quite fond of each other:

Then there was this other time when they seemed to be flirting:

And finally, here they were, not too long ago, shaking hands with each other:

In fact, if I recall correctly, every time I've seen Hillary and Obama together in person, they've appeared to be on perfectly reasonable terms with each other. Cordial at least, sometimes affectionate. Whether that's all been genuine or forced, I can't say. What I can say is that is that this most recent encounter clearly wasn't just a snub. It was a flip flop!
