Hillary Clinton just brought up the case of Kirk Watson, who on Tuesday was unable, when asked by Chris Matthews, to name one of Obama's accomplishments in the Senate. An odd ploy, I'd say, as it basically allowed Barack Obama to respond with a long, compelling catalog of achievements.

Likewise, her insistence that he'd plagiarized Deval Patrick--"change you can Xerox"--went nowhere.

In the past, when Hillary Clinton was the presumptive nominee, she was able to win every debate simply by not screwing up badly. Obviously, now that there are two candidates, one has to win and one has to lose. But the onus is really on her at this point to pull off a momentum-changing victory. In other words, I think the tables have turned, and she's not winning.
