Obamania

If you're an Obama fan, it's a happy night for you. If you're a Hillary Clinton fan, you're either worried about the series of significant losses she's suffered, or you're trying to keep yourself convinced that none of this counts. Because states that Hillary Clinton doesn't win don't count. Because her victory is inevitable.

The very stark contrast between the McCain speech (and those old farts - like me - backstopping him on stage) and the Obama speech was so clear that the MSNBC panels (including Buchanan) kept saying that McCain should never speak right after Obama.

I luv'd the contrast. Candidate/Party of the future versus Candidate/Party of the past. In spades.

It's not that I like Hillary or Obama over the other, and boy was I way off in my analysis of Super Tuesday by the way, but I want to avoid jumping on the Washington DC nose up Obama's ass bandwagon, especially since he hasn't won yet. As "self professed" liberals, let's be fair to Hillary.
