A change in tone

Liberals are rightly upset about the AP's Washington Bureau falling into the hands of a man like Ron Fournier, who nearly went to work for the McCain campaign. But there's probably very little that anybody can do about it, and if he's willing to put out articles like this, I feel a bit better about the situation.

John McCain embraces and expels Washington like an
accordion player belting out a song.

Squeeze in and he touts his vast knowledge of the capital city. Draw
out and he casts himself a reformer bent on changing its ways.

Tomorrow, though, I fear we'll get a rejoinder about Barack Obama, and how he works the stump like an antique viola--a lush and sonorous baritone with a sadly underwhelming repertoire.

Brian,

please, I beg you, delete this moron. While it's probably even tougher for you to read such garbage because you were the one who suffered throught this ordeal, let me assure you, this vile piece of shit whoe is wishing for you death here makes me physically ill.

It's disgusting and sad that such people really exist. The anononymity of the internet allows this scum of the earth to say things he would never dare to utter in the real world. It's truyl revolting.
