The gaffe-o-meter

Even the liberal TNR thinks Joe Biden is a clown. Here they are, for instance, dogging him for telling a true story about how his helicopter was forced down in Afghanistan and for calling out an Obama ad making fun of John McCain's inability to use a computer. And while I don't think it's smart politics for Biden to call foul on his own campaign, somehow I think TNR would magnanimously figure out a way to applaud, say, Joe Lieberman if he'd said the same thing about one of McCain's ads.
