Congratulations, uncle!

Got the news last night. My uncle Bruce (aka, the other B. A. Beutler) has been nominated for a Nobel Prize.

Makes me proud. In an under-publicized twist on the old rules, though, the Nobel committee is allowing the public to select this year's winners--which I suppose bodes well for my uncle, whose nephew is a modestly popular American political blogger, but I digress.
