Al Gore: The Obscuracle

Al Gore says:

As many of you know, I am good friends with Barack. I called him earlier today to congratulate him on his victory over Senator John McCain.

I look forward to serving in the Obama administration and while I cannot yet reveal what my exact role will be, I can assure you that President-Elect Obama and I are eager to get started building a new world. One that is green and sustainable.

Guh?? Obama has said a number of times that Gore would be invited to play a key role in his administration if he wanted to, and Gore has always blushed it off. But "serving in the Obama administration"? He "cannot yet reveal" what his role will be? Have the details already been finalized? Or is this just a sloppy way of saying "we're still hashing out what my role will be"? Inquiring minds are inquiring loudly!
