Major Dingell Waxman news

Henry Waxman won the House Steering and Policy committee vote by a narrow three-vote margin, 25-22. The final decision on who will chair the powerful Energy and Commerce committee falls to the full caucus tomorrow, with the steering committee advising that Waxman get the nod. It's too close to call--the steering committee maps pretty well onto the whole caucus--but it bodes somewhat poorly for John Dingell, who's been campaigning very publicly to keep his job.
